QU Examples

QU™ – The Designer’s Tabletop Display and Signage System, was designed by Architect Roger Lepley, AIA and Industrial Designer, Eastan Bakka. QU is a product of Consort Display Group and is manufactured in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. The name “QU” and the logo and branding concepts are creations of Thomas Mills of MillsIdeas, LLC, Kalamazoo, Michigan USA. The QU website was designed by Jean Strate of Consort Display Group.

The inspiration for QU is simply the idea of taking standard Letter Size (8.5”x11”) paper designed in a two-column format, printing it, folding it lengthwise and inserting it into a durable, contemporary, two-sided tabletop display. With a special bracket, QU is also easily wall-mounted for horizontal signs. QU is extremely durable to the point of being virtually unbreakable. Please see our durability videos.

Consort Display Group was originally founded in 1983 as Kalamazoo Banner Works and is now comprised of nine product lines, made up of display products for businesses, organizations and consumers. 98% of our products are manufactured in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Most of Consort’s products have been created by our in-house design staff. QU is also sold under the Podia® Tabletop Display brand on Consort’s main website. Under the Podia brand, since 2003, the target market has been the hospitality industry.
